The Abuse and Trauma of Virgia Brewer: A Voice We Need to Hear<\/b><\/b><\/h1>\n

To meet Virgia Brewer today, you\u2019d see a woman of strength, warmth, and grace. What you wouldn\u2019t see\u2014what she carries quietly\u2014is a harrowing past of decades-long abuse and trauma and survival. Beginning at the age of seven, Virgia was sexually exploited and abused\u2014by members of her own family. Her early life was marked by pain no child should endure, and her journey into adulthood was shaped by addiction, incarceration, and the cycles of systems that often punish before they understand.<\/p>\n
